Selection of Students:
The admission of students to various Arts, Science and Commerce Courses are made purely on the basis of merit, subject to the reservation rules of the Government of Tamil Nadu and as per the guidelines issued by the Director of Collegiate Education from time to time. Immediately after the last date of receipt of applications is over all eligible applications shall be ranked strictly according to the percentage of the marks including the concessional marks, if any.
1. Open Competition : 31%
2. Backward Class : 30%
3. Most Backward Class and : 20%
Denotified Communities
4. Scheduled Caste : 18%
5. Scheduled Tribe : 01%
6. 3 out of every 100 Vacancies / Seats in each category shall be reserved for physically
handicapped persons
7. 4 Seats in Under-Graduate Courses shall be reserved for the children of the Ex-
Servicemen of Tamil Nadu Origin.
8. Out of 100 Seats 20 Seats will be reserved for girl students in Under-Graduate Courses.
